Old cement tile roofing was becoming dangerous on this apartment buidling. With a difficult setup, Reader Roofing installed new shingles.

 The brittle concrete tiles were beginning to be a danger to people walking on the sidewalk below. |

 The original green protective coating could still be seen on some of the tiles . |

 The tiles removed from the roof were very thin and weathered. |

 The courtyard was too narrow for a manlift. Three-stage ladders had to be used. |

 Two men worked from the ladders. A man on the flat roof supplied the shingles. |

 The cement tiles were stacked on the flat roof until they could be lowered to the ground. |

 Everyone was pleased that a manlift could be used across the front of the building. |

 After struggling with the ladders the remainder of the job was completed using the manlift. |
