This large service garage was
dark inside and expensive to
light.
It was calculated that 44 sky-
lights were needed to brighten
the interior.
The placement for each sky-
light was outlined on the roof.
The roof around the outline
was cut down to the metal
deck.
The roofing membrane and
insulation were removed.
The new skylights were
positioned in the openings.
Tapered board was installed
around the skylights to pre-
vent standing water.
A cap sheet was installed
over the base ply .
The first row of skylights are
completed.
